Yes, some of the cogs are hard to get. I've got tons of
large cogs that I'll never use, but certain smaller ones (17
tooth, e.g.) are about gone. I suspect that I'll just be
    buying new aftermarket freewheels soon.

If her bike is six, any modern Shimano type freewheel will
    shift perfectly; same sprocket spacing.

For Suntour Seven Accushift (CS or FW), the sprockets are
closer in the low gears and wider apart in the high gears.
No other product duplicates that spacing for correct indexing.

The problem is that IF he had the slightest knowledge of these things it would lead him to make a suggestion like Andrew. Even Liebermann though consistently incorrect makes an attempt. This leads one to the inescapable conclusion that Frank is
nothing more than a phony. Andrew has been right 99% of the time and the disagreements we had were funny things like Campagnolo and Shimano making shift wires in a different manner which neither of us would have considered.

    There's that alternative reality!!!!

If Krygowski were not indeed stupid he would not continuously act as if he knew without ever actually solving the problem. This is something that is turning up more and more in so-called college graduates.

Question: when 80% of college graduates cannot find a job working in their majors, doesn't that indicate that they were insufficiently educated? Poor Liebermann - he lived in the hottest area for electronics engineering that couldn't get enough
engineers and he could not get a job in his major. What does that say about his actual education? I think that you have to treat Krygowski in the same manner. A failed mechanical engineer. "Those who can, do. And those who cannot, teach."

This is why the outrage that as a high school graduate these people were outraged that I was more than successful.

lol... no one is outraged. we're amused at your tall tales

And yet because of me, there are literally thousands of people walking aroung today with successful lives that would not be alive today without me.

    You shouldn't. You aren't responsible.

No, you didn't so it, and were fired after a year for not doing it.

It was that idea and not me that kept those people alive.

Yes, it was the idea that someone was able to do that job, and that
    person wasn't you.

Why would anyone 'fumble around' with classic shifters
except maybe in boredom? Random bored activity isn't very
likely in a race BTW. Have you ever 'fumbled around' with DT
shifters yourself? Girls are more fun IMHO.

    and you had time
to fumble around without looking down snd pretend to be shifting fast and effectively.

No need to fumble for a competent rider.

Exactly who is changing the subject?

You did, dumbass. There was no reference to any kind of bike riding -
let alone racing - in this thread until you brought it up.

All of the racers I rode
with looked down because they weren't trying to look like experts. Rather they wanted to shift the bike without fumbling around.

You rode in exactly one cat 4 race and got dropped like a stone. The
only view you got was from far behind, you wouldn't have know who was
looking down to shift and who wasn't.

Thanks for giving us that new insight into your previous claims.

I've stated nothing differently than I ever did, and no, I never needed
to look to down to shift. Competent riders don't need to do that.
Everyone in this forum who has commented has also confirmed they don't
need to look down to shift. Once again, it's a problem only you seem to
    have.
