Sheep do that as well, some of the old mountain roads get sheep early
morning sleeping on the warmer tarmac.

In this tropical paradise it was 47 degrees(f) yesterday morning at
    05:00 :-)

It’s 8/46 today which is a warm clear day but will drop to 4/39 by time I’m home probably as it’s clear feel a fair bit colder.

Temperatures are as ever higher than expected ranges and wetter.

Beautiful here, a nice break after a long freeze.
But winter will be back shortly.

The January thaw it has been above 30 the last 3 days and not much wind.
Got out the last 3 days to ride. Cold but ok.

When I was back in Wisconsin, years ago, I'd might have gotten out the
golf clubs. Nowdays, at 80 years old in Florida, 54 degrees this
morning and my Neuropathy says they'll be no morning walk and more
than a little discomfort on the bike ride until it warmed up.
Actually, the Neuropathy bothered the whole 50 miles. The new cane
    came in handy.
