    Jeff, get set up for a couple of days of perhaps torrential rains. They just predicted a possible 8 inches in the Santa Cruz mountains.

    I'll give your personal and authoritative weather forecast all the consideration it deserves. In the future, your sources of weather
    information and the settings of your crystal ball might help make your predictions believable.

    For my area (Ben Lomond, CA): <https://www.windy.com/37.081/-122.095?temp,36.485,-121.215,8>
    I'm worried about the 46 mph wind gusts from 1am Thursday to about 4am
    Friday. The rainfall forecast doesn't look too horrible.

    7 day forecast for Ben Lomond. The rain starts tonight (Tues eve): <https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lon=-122.09304015350371&lat=37.08133745279595>

    Tuesday night 0.1 to 0.25 inches
    Wednesday less than 0.1 inches
    Wednesday night 1 to 2 inches
    Thursday 1 to 2 inches
    Thursday night 0.5 to 0.75 inches
    =====================================
    Totals 2.6 to 5.1 inches

    That's much less than your 8 inches.
