If you look it up, Youngstown has a high rate of poverty, and where you have poverty you usually have crime and where you have crime you have guns used to achieve criminal ends. Frank has lived most of his life shielded from that by a university and its
patrols. So it is somewhat understandable that frank is set against the 2nd Amendment since he doesn't see any of the fear injected into criminals if their intended victims are themselves armed. He wishes to take away to means of protection of honest
citizens thinking that criminals wouldn't be able to get guns if he just made them illegal.
I think that most of us know that is a load of BS, but it makes perfect sense to gun grabbers. Just like he honestly believes that Canada has less guns per citizen when they probably have more and simply don't report them.
