Today I managed 57 miles outside for first time since the right eye
cataract done. Had been riding inside. I had the Yellow Night Driving
glasses because sunrise was still 1 hour away. A bit of rain drops but
nothing other than pavement wet. The good thing is I see distance great
not need for corrective lens. I could easily read my Garmin 945 but I
have a odd thing that have to check. \
My right eye is just shy of full correction to allow some closer vision. Corrected to a fuzzy 20/30. But the odd thing is when I get up early in
the morning my up close vision is fine but get worse as the day
proceeds. The distance gets better but the close up worse. That has me
baffled the left eye does not work like that but it is corrected for
full distance so anything close is readers required. I will have the ask
the dr when I go next week but AI seems to think this is pretty normal
as cornea is different shape after sleeping all night.
It was good to get out today been a less than ideal March for riding.
