I did a pretty hard ride onj Tuesday so decided that since it is predicted Rain on Saturday during our normal cafe ride that I would do the cafe ride with a friend yesterday. He was so far off of the front that he couldn't be seen most of the time but we
took the long way, which he doesn't know so
I ended up leading the last 5 miles and got there at the 20 mile mark outbond. This was a new cafe and the service was awful and the food only acceptable and expensive.
8 miles home and an average speed of less than Tuesdays harder ride because of headwinds from the incoming front.Up to this point I have 235 miles which isn't bad so far this month. I rode the DeRosa Merak which weighs exactly the same with flat kit and
water bottle as the disc braked Idol. The Idol is going into the shop tomorrow for a pro to figure out why the discs have so little power.
