I'm pretty sure that Pogacar wanted to keep the yellow for the remainder of the race. But Visma was too smart for that for a change. They relaxed at the back stayong only in the main peloton soas not to get Jonas off of the front group. This ended up
giving EF Education's Ben Healey at one point 6:50 minutes lead and enough time to finish 10 seconds in front of Pogacar's time and put him in the Yellow though by the line he was exhausted. For the last 10 miles, Simon Yates was given the green light to
win the stage and lthough he said that he wasn't feeling good he disappeared up the road for a a stage win. And the end he barely looked tested!
Pogacar and Jonas came in at the same time but Jonas has to make up for the time he lost in the Time Trial which he used to be terrific in.
Garaint Thomas of Enios was asked how it feels to be facing retirement next year and responded that it should have been last year.
Onhe of the things that I noticed in those crashes if that their disc brakes worned the way that I remembered mkine working: instant application and powerful. The one's on my DeRosa are Shimano Ultegra and while I could probably lock the wheels with them
they feel like powerful rim brakes rather than that instant and very hrd application. Perhaps Dura Ace are like that now and Ultegra purposely reduced to strong rim brakes?
