  • Tim Update - Not so great news

    Tim had a heart biopsy yesterday which is how they tell if his body is rejecting his heart. The pathology report showed inflammation which is
    a sign of rejection. They put him back on steroids and may have to
    adjust his anti-rejection meds. The steroids will mess with his blood
    sugar levels which are monitored frequently. He is feeling ok and has
    had many other iv drip meds removed. He is still weak from lying for
    so long but PT is working with him daily to rebuild strength.
