• help choosing new light please

From Denise D@21:1/5 to All on Thu Sep 28 12:44:43 2023
For years (maybe even a couple of decades) I depended on my Ott True Color floor lamp, model number L18514. Sadly it is completely dead. I am trying to choose a new one and the variety of options has me baffled. Ott customer service said their 24w Craft
Plus Floor Lamp is the most similar to what I had previously, but that doesn't seem to be a "True Color" model. I'm not sure if that is important.
My eyesight is deteriorating due to macular degeneration; finding the right light may allow me to stitch a while longer (I also have the magnifier attachment for ott floor lamps).
    So, what would you recommend?

I replaced my OTT with a Brightech Litespan Slim Floor Lamp from
    Amazon.

    Thanks, Rich.
I was just now looking at that lamp on Amazon. A lot of the complaints seem to be about the pole to base attachment being unstable. Did you notice that problem? If so, how did you deal with it?
Other than that, it looks like it might do the job well, and is lots less expensive that Ott lamps.

I didnt notice that probem. Mine sits behind the couch. I have moved
it a little to get the right angle without any issues.
