i use bacon fat, which would otherwise get tossed in the garbage
so it's free, to cook eggs. and i wholeheartedly agree with this
sentiment. if you can't afford fifty cent eggs you have much
larger problems than the cost of said eggs.

Usually I use butter to cook eggs; sometimes I use bacon grease.
I'm pretty sure the guy at the Korean restaurant uses random oil
(maybe scoops out a bit from the fryer), but his results speak
for themselves: delicious, and I don't even like fried eggs.
Crispy around the edges, with runny yolks. Pefect for
stirring into bibimbap.
