CINCINNATI (WKRC) - State Senator Bill DeMora has introduced Senate Bill
38, also known as the "Boneless Wing Bill," in response to a controversial
Ohio Supreme Court ruling.
The ruling, which went viral, involved a Hamilton man who sued a
restaurant after swallowing a boneless wing that contained a bone, leading
to medical issues.
The court ruled that customers ordering boneless chicken wings could
reasonably expect to find a piece of bone in their meal. DeMora's proposed legislation, currently in committee, aims to ensure that courts apply
common sense when deciding if a legal case can proceed.
"The boneless wing ruling doesn't pass the common sense test," DeMora
said.
