So, what did you add to these wonderous grits before hiding
them under what I'm assuming is pepper?

I can barely tell the piece of fish on the plate from the grits with all
the seasoning he piled on. I also can't tell what that green thing on
the plate is. It looks like it might be a roasted halved avocado. Maybe.

Nothing wrong with that. My husband prepares his own breakfast
and lunch. On Sundays I cook bacon for him and enjoy a couple
of slices for myself as well. (He's on his own for eggs and

I had some grits served loco Moco style at the Seattle-Seatac Airport.
The grits had cheese in it. It was awesome. So much so that when we
passed there on the way back, I had it again. If I'm ever at that
airport again, I'll order it again.
