I made some frijoles negros refritos. A can of black beans, pureed in blender. Rendered beef fat, salt, water. I took a piece of cube steak, and diced it before frying it in very hot beef fat. I had made salsa too. Two serranos, one very small onion and six small tomatillos put into a large Pyrex measuring cup, the pressure cooked and blended with some added salt. Then I got about a T and a half of HOSO to just smoking before dumping the salsa in, and simmering it for a while. Served on tortillas with pepper jack cheese.

For the sake of DEI I always make it a point to use white, black, red and brown beans in equal amounts.
If you do not do that, it is racist food!
Diversity is good, she is the best dancer at our local strip joint.

Back in the day, it was Stormy, Windy, Sunny and Brandy. Nowadays, I
suppose Diversity and Equity chat you up in the foyer while Inclusion >finishes off another customer in the back.

Oh, wait! I'm talking Nevada. Sorry folks, it's all I know. :(
What's a stripper?

It depends on the decade. Back in the 50s and 60s a stripper was
basically a disgusting sinning slut who violated Christian values. By
the 70s it was still unacceptable to strip but it had more to do with feminism and male exploitation. I had to question that. I knew a
stripper when I was at university. She was in my sociology class. It was
1973 and I had had a summer job in an alloy smelting plant. It was hard,
hot and very dangerous work, but I was making $4.26/hour, which was
really good money back then. I was working 7 hour shifts. This girl was working less than 2 hours per evening though she had to be there for
about hours. She would do three sets a night, three or hour songs per
set. She was making $350 per week, so I have to ask who was being
exploited.

Nah, there were real-men bouncers back then. Oscar Bonavena was killed
at our most famous "strip joint", just out of town. I was a mere child
of thirty at the time but had given up the single-male-Nevadan life.

Yep. You have been exploited your whole life dave. Life has been very
unfair to you, more than anybody else. I look up to you because you've overcome all these disadvantages, and you've excelled at every thing you attempted, despite all the blows society has unfairly dealt you.
You are a man I truly admire.
