• Got some honey

From Ed P@21:1/5 to All on Wed Mar 5 16:43:42 2025
Not just any honey, nothing imported, this is true American honey.

My granddaughter is off today so I took her to run a couple of errands.
So, she bought me some of this honey. Better than the stuff my mother
    gave me as a kid.

It's really fucked up that they won't even let one *read about* alcoholic beverages unless one affirms that they are over 21.
Makes me think of the words of the late Oksana Shachko. "FUCK YOUR MORALS"

Isn't this very common in the US? I bet in Las Vegas people are allowed to
read about alcohol without lots of warnings! =D

I don't think it's government censorship.  The alcohol companies are
just sucking up to the moralists.  You know, like Trump sucks up to Putin.

    Are age gates required?
Age gates are not legally required.

However, website age-gates are required for manufacturers under the
codes adopted by the Brewers Association, Beer Institute, Wine
Institute, and Distilled Spirits Council. In addition, the FTC’s Self-Regulation in the Alcohol Industry Reports for 2008 and 2014
pointed to age-gates as recommended practices.

Oh, this is not good. If I had an alcohol company, I would suck up to
people who enjoy alcohol instead! ;)
