My wife and her best friend have lunch at Red Robin, once every two
weeks. Her friend hits a nearby Costco each time before coming to dine.
Her friend was shopping for eggs in Costco today when a egg stocker said
that he was stocking the best price she was going to get.
She bought into it without realizing how many eggs she was going to buy.
She checked out with a hundred and twenty eggs, and my wife bought sixty
of them from her for twenty-two bucks or half of her original cost,
just because.
What the hell does one do with sixty eggs plus ten that we already had?

Yes, supermarket eggs are easier to peel than when we still had our

Eggs are $3.50- $4 in grocery stores around here. My wife gets them from
our neighbour and pays $7. They are fresh and free range and she prefers them. I am fine with the cheaper ones. Our neighbour even delivers
them. Every Friday morning she leaves a dozen eggs on our doorstep.

Eggs last three to five weeks. Or you can freeze them (details
available on the web).
I'm not panicked. Sure, paying $5.89 for a dozen eggs made me
raise my eyebrows last week. Those were the slightly fancy
"Eggland's Best" eggs, the taste of which my husband prefers.
I could have got regular eggs for $5.59. These are size large,
which is satisfactory for our uses.

Egg panic indeed. I bought a dozen eggs and my daughter bought 18 eggs.
My wife's friend gave her a dozen eggs. Things are just crazy all over.
This morning's breakfast was a classic Hawaiian breakfast. No, it's not
poi and pineapple - eggs, rice, and Portuguese sausage. I typically fry
up a couple of eggs in the morning but I did 3 today. I'm doing my part
in dealing with this eggs crisis.

I did my bit today too. MyRing doorbell paged me with a signal that they
were someone at the door. It was only 7:15 so it was the neighbour's
daughter making a delivery. When I went down for breakfast I opened the
door and picked up the cartoon of eggs she had left for us.

I just heard President Trump saying that he's having Ukraine airfreight
us HUGE loads of eggs, David...
A BILLION or so dollars worth to start...
This is to help repay us the $350 BILLION we've gifted Ukraine...
Very soon, eggs will be cheaper even than the AIR we breathe...!!!
THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP...!!!

I am waiting to see what Trump is really up to. We have seen one major distraction after another. No one seems to be noticing that he has
become a dictator and is ruling by executive order. He has started a
trade war with his two closest neighbours, trading partners and allies.
He has decided to cut off aid Ukraine, aid that had been approved by Congress. How ironic that they guy whose supporters whined so much about democracy are completely overlooking the fact that their leader is now basically a dictator.

My go to is egg salad, then deviled eggs.
Next - popovers, dutch baby, omlets of any kind.
Feeling adventurous? souffle.
Kind of surprised Jill didn't suggest quiche.

Incorrect. We don't know what the ones who did not vote really wanted.
Maybe they forgot, maybe they don't care, maybe they were so sure that
Trump would win they couldn't be bothered.
But to say they were all against Trump is very stupid and not correct.
