• Tariff Question

From Ed P@21:1/5 to All on Sat Mar 8 15:39:25 2025
Some weeks back I bought some frozen scallops from Wild Fork foods. So
far, I had two serving from it, tonight I'll have another and one more
left. When I took them out of the freezer, I noticed that they are
    labeled "Product of Canada"

Half way through this $22 purchase, a 25% tariff on goods from Canada
    has been imposed.

    My questions:
Tariff on the two servings is $2.75. Do I pay it all at once or pay
    when I cook each serving?

Do I make the check payable to President Trump or to his boss, Elon Musk?

There may be other members of the oligarchy that would gladly take your
money. It doesn't really matter. You're going to make America great.

Yes, it makes me feel good to pay higher prices. If it makes a wealthy
person even more wealthy, it is well spent.

To be sure you don't get into trouble, you should pay $2.75 to both of
them. You can make up for it by cheating a little on your income tax,
because IRS won't have enough people to check everything Since musk
    fired them.
