I like a good meal and occasionally make an effort for something really, really good, no matter how much time it takes. Other days, I just want something quick and easy. At my age, I figure I'm allowed to take the
easy way out at times, so I do.
Last week I bought some Just Barely chicken breast strips because it was BOGO. I like it because it is easy to pop into the oven, or, 14 minutes
in the air fryer.
I can cut up a potato, put that in the air fryer set for 24 minutes, add
the chicken at 14. Does not get much easier.
So, I want to the store this morning and got 2 more packs of them. Many lazy, but good, meals in the couple of months ahead. Good plain, or
with bbq sauce, honey, etc.

Hey! I resemble that remark.
Seriously, I just got a new passport, so I have
a serious case of passport-photo dysphoria.
My wife tells me the USA is thinking of setting up a
new website for Canadians visiting the USA.
Basically, all the rules about how long we are allowed
to visit stay the same, but if we screw up on the
untested web-site (probably written by Muskovite
code-monkeys), there is a 30 day jail penalty or
$5,000 fine. (And that's in USA dollars.)
I think I'll go to Cuba instead.
We're going camping today. It's going to get up to 27C, then down only
to 14.5C overnight, and there is a total eclipse of the moon in the
middle of the night. Other than at the State Park for camping fee, we
are spending $0 in the area because it's filled with Trump supporting subhumans.
Next winter, we're planning on Mexico City, and the following summer, Ontario.
be a few day trip to Chicago (Art Institute).
the USA we might visit is Puerto Rico. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vieques,_Puerto_Rico

friend of mine sent me a video of her hand shaking uncontrollably
yesterday. she lives in an apartment block in Kryvyi Rih. a
building 200 meters down the road was hit by a rashist drone. she
was lucky this time, the windows in her apartment didn't get blown
out like several times before. there's no bomb shelter nearby so
people shelter in the halls away from the windows. a 47 year old
woman was killed on a bus in that drone strike. a dozen people
injured. a half hour later was the next bus run, her kids would
have been on it to go to school. people shouldn't have to live
like that for no good reason. i hope i live to see the day
americans on thier own soil get wasted en masse like that. we
deserve it.
you talk and act like you view the world from behind a computer
screen in your mama's basement that you've never been out of.
piss off with your anti-Ukraine shit you fucking vile maggot.
now i remember why i found your nym in my filters when i emptied
them.
