From flood of sins@21:1/5 to All on Fri Mar 21 16:45:34 2025
tonight, friday night, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is going to
be in the Rochester area. i'm going to grab my wife and
grandsons to see it and have hot dogs for dinner.

tomorrow, visiting my mom. to avoid another crockpot chicken
abomination by my niece, i'll be making chicken caccitore and
garlic mashed potatoes for 8 people.

    anyone else have plans?

Tonight is the last of the leftover meatloaf.
Tomorrow, good chance chicken out of the freezer.

I've seen an Oscar Mayer Weinermoble while driving down HWY 95. It
never made me want to eat hot dogs. Not that I have anything against
hot dogs. It's just not something I think about very often and when I

Dinner last night was leftover corned beef & cabbage. Tonight (3/22)
I'm thinking baked mac & cheese to which I'll add some diced smoked ham.
    Steamed broccoli on the side.

Not today. Tomorrow's lunch will be butter chicken; salad
with a dressing of neutral oil, lemon juice, cumin, coriander,
fresh ginger, salt, and pepper; and rice pilaf (cinnamon, cardamom,
cloves, whole cumin seed, turmeric, salt and butter -- the
cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom are removed after the rice is cooked).

We had the Wienermobile at the parking lot where I used to work. It's
quite exciting to see that thing. The mobile is super cool but the
inside seems to be somewhat inhospitable and not a very nice place to
work and drive - or is it?

We went to Uncle Kimo's Emporium of Smokey Hawaiian Meats tonight. We
had some pork belly burnt ends, and a meat platter of brisket and ribs.
It was too much meat for an old geezer.

    It's a large wiener built on a truck/RV frame. It's not a car, it's a
self propelled promotional sausage replica. My understanding is that
Pizza Hut tried to make a pizzamobile but it kept flying off the road at
    speed.

leftovers which are ok. sloppy joes.

last night i was talking to Mom about the potato salad she had
made yesterday and that we had a few frozen grilled hot dogs and
we should make a picnic of it today (at home, the weather isn't
really going to be picnic outdoors weather) just to get those
    used up.

Just wondering; Are you a descendant of George Blaisdell?

The man that invented the most iconic lighter of the 20th century.
Simple, but well made, and highly reliable if you don't run out of
    wicks, flints and fuel.

We had beef and barley stew. It was excellent! Spring is finally here. Temperature is now holding steady at around 10 degrees C. There was a bit
of snow a week ago, but since then, we've had rain and sun. Today is rain.

the chicken caccitore wasn't as big of a hit as i thought it
would be. for as much as my (German) parents loved eating at
Italian restuarants, my mom enjoyed it but said she's rather
have bbq chicken or chicken parm instead of this lovely italian
