I'm wondering how flood of sins chicken cacciatore
turned out that he was making for tonight? What
are you feasting on this first Saturday of spring
    in the northern hemisphere?

I did finally get into the kitchen this afternoon
and put my chuck roast into the Ninja Foodi for
tonight's meal. It got a good browning before
adding a beefy liquid and several spices to the
pot and it has about 30 minutes left before plating.

My chuck roast is large enough for at least two
more meals. Yes, that means there will be those
dreaded leftovers that sends a certain poster here
    into a frenzied tailspin.

Penne pasta with a creamy cheddar cheeze sauce, tuna, and peas... AND
    croutons to garnish...!!!

Kind of a gussied up mac 'n cheeze, I guess...

Pan fried catfish fillet, lightly dredged in seasoned flour, then dipped
in egg wash, then finely ground spiced cornmeal (aka masa harina). I
use corn oil to pan fry the fish. Sliced steamed zucchini will go with
it. I thought about coating & frying the zucchini (I do love it that

You should evict that guy from your head!

Nothing wrong with chuck roast, and sometimes the leftovers can be
better than the first meal. Sure good enough for me.

I usually put a LOT of vegetables in the pot (especially carrots), so
the leftovers have that too. Sandwiches are good though.

Excellent! Let us pray for the success in court. Would be fun if Musk
could extract a few millions from everyone who labels him a Nazi! =)

Then he can proceed with suing all european organizations who have been
renting commercial space in european public spaces to say that he is a
    nazi.

Maybe there is justice after all? =)

Had that situation with my pancakes this morning.

I make bacon in the oven. I've seen recipes and such where people do
the same, but they sprinkle brown sugar on the bacon. Some day I may try
it on a slice or two. I've seen it dipped in chocolate tool

No, thanks. Strawberry preserves have just enough acid to make
it tolerable. I've been thinking about seedless black raspberry,
but as seldom as I use it, we don't need two kinds of jam (and
    my husband strongly prefers strawberry).

I hope you're not suggesting maple syrup on the eggs. That's just
    crazy talk.

I don't mind the maple syrup getting into the bacon, but not the eggs.
If I have pancakes on a plate with eggs and bacon I eat the eggs before
the syrup goes on. Eggs and syrup in not a good combination IMO.

I typically don't eat pancakes, or eggs and waffles together. But
the bacon gets its own plate, separate from the waffles.

Had that situation with my pancakes this morning.

I make bacon in the oven. I've seen recipes and such where people do
the same, but they sprinkle brown sugar on the bacon. Some day I may try
it on a slice or two. I've seen it dipped in chocolate tool

I've seen a 'recipe' online or TV where brown sugar is
sprinkled on the almost done, I think, bacon. Then a
light drizzle of maple syrup is added, and it's called
maple crack bacon. If the crack is in reference to
the bacon slightly cracking/snapping when bitten into
or if it's addicting as crack cocaine, I'm not sure.

It's the latter, same with crack chicken.

Saturday lunch was a very tasty butter chicken (murgh makhni) with
    salad and a rice pilaf.

Murgh makhni is Afghani for dead chicken?

It's Hindi for "chicken in butter or cream sauce", as your artificial

My husband prefers it with chicken. I might try adding a little
paneer for myself next time I make it. I've also done dal makhni.

You're talking well over Bruce's head. He doesn't cook, he snarks.

I like the sound of that.

They should double the sugar and call it Hiwaiian bacon.

You should evict that guy from your head!

Nothing wrong with chuck roast, and sometimes the leftovers can be
better than the first meal. Sure good enough for me.

I'd rather be starved for cock than be a dickhead stockboy

I did finally get into the kitchen this afternoon
and put my chuck roast into the Ninja Foodi for
tonight's meal.  It got a good browning before
adding a beefy liquid and several spices to the
pot and it has about 30 minutes left before plating.
