Thanks for the heads up. I missed the first 15 minutes but found it in
time to learn about the salamanders.

I caught it and enjoyed it. I watched it to the end and then the
satellite was set to catch the last episode of The White Lotus.

I've been watching this from the outset last month and set the DVR for
those episodes I might miss. Fantastic photography; nice job of
    narration by Tom Hanks.

Well, I missed it as I only watch broadcast TV for the
local news and PBS for certain programs. But 8:00 p.m.
for Ed would be 7:00 p.m. for me and I was watching
"Call the Midwife" on PBS followed by "Wolf Hall."

But the Magellan channel on Sling has some eye popping
    nature photography.

I thought those were in re-runs. I didn't check the dates on them
although I noticed they were on.

NBC is broadcast TV, isn't it? It's one of the remaining original big
three. I usually watch PBS for nature programs but when I saw ads about
Tom Hanks narrating this series of 10 episodes about nature involving
the entire Americas (North, South, Central) continent I tuned in. I
don't have Sling and don't get the Magellan channel. I do love nature programs.

The "Call the Midwife" is all new episodes and only
comes on once a year in the spring. But they do
have a Christmas special most years. "Wolf Hall"
was released November/December 2024, but my local
PBS is just now airing it.

Yes, ABC, CBS, and NBC are the big 3 broadcast networks.
Since I don't watch broadcast TV I see no notices for
anything appearing on those stations or any other broadcast
    stations.
