Several years ago I was doing my taxes online (1040EZ)
which is about as simple as you can get. It took me
THREE (3) hours do them as I was constantly losing my
internet connection. A call for service revealed my
outside line into the house had been baked, absolutely
baked by the sun. All new equipment outside and it
    really sped me up, too.

What's coming out of your kitchen this Thursday evening?
Sandwiches, full meal prep, grilling, or finishing off
    some leftovers?

It's going to fire roasted tomato soup here.  I'm
anxious to see if it's going to be better than my
favorite whole tomato recipe blended with a stick
blender after simmering.  Ingredients are the same,
with the tomatoes being the only difference and
there's just enough heavy cream left to make it
    super rich.

You have more ambition and appetite than I have.

Had a snack at about 3 and now not hungry enough to cook.
With my snack was a bourbon as a tribute to a friend that passed away 13 years ago today. Long story there.

I'm going to make a salad and have some crackers and cheese with it.

    Maybe a sandwich later?

I wondered why your Majesty had disappeared so long. It's great to have
your Royal Highness back again. Everyone really missed your sparkling personality, and fair and honest contributions without acrimony.

Yes, a relief - I was practically in "Royal Mourning" mode during her absence...!!!

I was a day or two away from posting a "Where's Jill?" query. Did I miss something?

She'd not posted in a few days, but I was assuming she
was busy job hunting. Just glad there was no sickness.
