Lazy day eating or have you been in the kitchen cooking
tonight's meal and a dish or two for the coming week?

Here, it's nachos. Before Buffoon Bryan comes stomping
in and injuring that new knee and griping at the top of
his lungs, let me add there's nothing authentic or Latin
inspired about this dish. It's just a quick and tasty
dish I happen to enjoy even though Buffy will be seething.

Some sort of fizzy diet drink will be consumed as well.

It was boys night here. My son's wife went out with her sister so, he
came over here with Chinese for us. Adult beverages were also consumed.

Chateau Changyu AFIP No. 1, no doubt.

We made some chili yesterday, but neither of us felt like eating
it. It'll be portioned and frozen for future use.

My lunch was vegetable soup with a little Kraft "cheddar" cheese.
His was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Strawberry preserves,
    actually, rather than jelly.

Dinner was salads with grilled chicken.

ISTR Bryan prefers ersatz nachos made with "cheese sauce"
rather than melting real cheese onto chips the way Ignacio
Anaya originated the dish. He has no room to talk.

If you like your nachos with cheese sauce, that's fine. You
don't get all high and mighty about cooking.

Canada's election of the Liberal Mark Carney is the equivalent of
re-electing Joe Biden in 2024: Canada’s GDP has declined 6 of 7 quarters
and inflation is on the rise... housing is unaffordable, and Canada has
been flooded with millions of "immigrant" welfare leeches...

Canadian per - capita incomes, equal to the US twenty years ago, are now
70% of US incomes, and declining...

More than 75% of Canada’s trade is with the US and that is not something
that can be easily or quickly shifted to other partners...

Trudeau and the Liberals have made a mess in Canada...

Here the Canadians are apparently reacting to Trump rather than doing
the smart thing and booting the [fake] Liberals...

They will get the government they deserve...

Not Trump's fault... as they elected Trudeau way before Trump was on the scene...

You're just miffed because a few weeks ago you
predicted a win for the Trump ass-kisser Poilievre.

He didn't even win his own seat last night!

Not Trump's fault... as they elected Trudeau
way before Trump was on the scene...

Was Trump on any of your Canadian ballots, Mike...???

For a Canadian voter, why does "Trump wants to make us the 51st state"
equal "I'm going to vote for the totalitarian left!"?

Yeah, "Blame Trump for not keeping his mouth shut", but.... it just
seems like the voters up there aren't thinking this through...

Canadians voting for the leftist LIE - beral Carney to "protest"
Trump's verbal jabs about Canada is akin to a guy beating his wife
because his neighbour is playing his music too loudly...

You Canucks will get "what you voted for" - GOOD and HARD...!!!

In the meantime, enjoy your country's slide from a once - prosperous and thriving place to "The Venezuela of the Arctic"...

The only part of the 51st state talk that ever made sense is Alberta and
    maybe Saskatchewan joining the US...

They are right leaning, rich, have abundant natural resources that would enhance American security and in the case of Alberta they are
essentially bankrolling the rest of Canada. Alberta is very rich...

    Canada is in steep decline...

The country is in real trouble. There will be challenges and
opportunities for America stemming from that...
