• Reducing the water bill.

From Ed P@21:1/5 to All on Sat May 10 19:08:51 2025
I was shocked that my water bill went up 83 cents this month. Careless
use of utilities like that puts quite a strain on the budget. I have a solution though.

The obvious work around is to reduce water use. The question, How?
Easy. To reduce the water consumption and the ice that goes with it,
I'm going to drink wine instead.

Whew!! I thought you were going to forgo bathing and make
    it a once-a-week occurrence. 🛀

I just took a shower for Easter! I'm good until Memorial Day.

I've taken showers in Florida - it was a nasty, unpleasant, experience.
The shower water smelled like swamp water. I almost lost my lunch
cleaning myself. Lucky for me, there was bottle water in the fridge. I
had breakfast at a family restaurant and they made their coffee using
that swamp water. I almost lost my lunch drinking that coffee. The water
had the same swampy taste. I was trapped like a swamp rat, with little
options so I remained thirsty until the relief of bottled water became available. What a life saver!

That was probably 100 years ago. Our county water is some of the best
around. You can drink it unfiltered. Maybe some are not as good, but
    is is a big state.

And you'll convert that to water!

    Or light beer.

It wasn't quite a century ago, but it was still the modern age. No doubt
some areas of the state had some good water although the people where I
was seemed unconcerned about the swampy tasting water. We have some
great water in Hawaii but it's not perfect. My son's ex-GF is severely
disabled from water contaminated with jet fuel.
