Eggs are super versatile and of course super tasty.
Tonight's dinner was a bit of left over roast beef
on top of some steamed and seasoned tiny red potatoes.

Lunch was small salad and grilled salmon topped with dill and lemon

No. I had bread with each of those meals, but it didn't seem

Lunch today was from the supermarket lunch counter. It was corned beef
with rice, potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and, of course, super delicious
corn. It was so hefty that I had to transfer it to a tray when I got
home. What's the deal with that? I donno. I was wearing a tight black
shirt today. Perhaps the young counter girl was smitten with my rippling biceps.

Naw, this hapless negro ALREADY did that for him today, lol...!!!

    NY POST:

Trump confronts South African president with white genocide claims in
    surreal Oval Office meeting

    https://nypost.com/2025/05/21/us-news/trump-confronts-south-african-president-cyril-ramaphosa-with-white-genocide-claims/

"WASHINGTON — President Trump confronted South African President Cyril Ramaphosa Wednesday with claims that the country is carrying out a
genocide of white farmers — ordering the Oval Office’s lights be dimmed
to show an inflammatory five-minute video detailing purported evidence
    of crimes against humanity...

Trump, who said he personally hadn’t “made up my mind” on using the word “genocide,” said that “thousands” of white South Africans are seeking refugee status in the US and that he wants to “save lives.”...

The footage played at the meeting showed left-wing populist leader
Julius Malema calling for the murder of members of South Africa’s 4.5 million-strong white community, which comprises about 7.3% of the
population, and a roadside memorial ostensibly for dozens of murdered
    white farmers...

Trump also hammered Ramaphosa for a recently passed law allowing the
South African government to confiscate allegedly unused land — as South Africa-born Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and a key Trump adviser, looked on...

Ramaphosa, 72, stayed calm and deferential during the more than
hour-long discussion in front of the press — remarkably good-natured,
    given the video’s content...

Ramaphosa avoided a blowup with Trump by deferring to prominent white
South Africans who joined him on the trip, including major champion
golfers Ernie Els and Retief Goosen, and thanking the president for
providing South Africa with respirators during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020..."

If you must go anywhere take a cab or an Uber if you
don't have a neighbor that would be willing to drive you.

I'll probably get groceries delivered once I've cleared out the freezer.

    Good idea!
A member of my coffee group has offered to pick me up for that. My son
will do most of the shopping and my neighbour has offered to pick up
    stuff for me.
I have downloaded the Uber app for other things.

As OUR LORD GOD so wisely advises us, Graham...!!!

    Ecclesiastes 9:7:

"Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart,
for God has already approved what you do..."

    Psalms 104:15 :

"And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, And oil to make his face to
shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart..."

    Proverbs 31:6:

"Give strong drink to the one who is perishing, and wine to those in
    bitter distress..."

    Luke 21:34:

“But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation
and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you
    suddenly like a trap..."

    Isaiah 5:22:

"Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine, and valiant men in mixing
    strong drink..."
