Your Majesty's crab cakes sounds absolutely divine.

I'm just throwing together some odds and ends from leftovers, so it
won't be a regal meal here today.

I need to eat several leftover items before they get too old and must be
thrown out. We paupers occasionally have to do that.

    So, it's smorgasbord night here.

She meant "LIGHTLY" steamed, you fool.

    What's on your menu tonight?

We tried "Buddys" Pizza, from the freezer section. Detroit style pan
pizza. It was OK, but I suspect that it's better locally. Maybe Cindy
    has tried it before.

    Falling apart is still good.

    Leftover KFC here.

Did you reheat it in the air fryer or eat it cold?  I've never been a
    fan of cold fried chicken.

The last time we had KFC, it was so greasy, that most of it went into
the fridge. The next day, I reheated a few pieces in a cast iron
skillet with a few tbsp of water over low heat. The skillet was full of
grease once the chicken was heated through, and the chicken was much
better than the first time, with all of that grease gone.

Nope. I don't like thick-crust pizza. Neapolitan or New York, please.

For me, it is a once a year change for the sake of change. There are a
    few good ones.

Same with pineapple pizza. Many abhor it. A medical center we often
went to is attached to a mall that has a pizza place. Once a year I'd
have a slice of the pineapple.

Ask for extra-crispy. That works around here.

Do you put lemon butter or anything else on the crab cake when it's
done? I don't believe I've ever had one, but maybe, fifty years ago.
Every time I crack a Dungeness, I just gobble it up, dipped in lemon
butter. No imagination. Or...I chuck it in a bisque.

    What's on your menu tonight?

My wife went out to eat, with an old friend, at a Mexican Restaurant.
I stayed home and had canned Hormel tamales.
