I can't think of anyone off the top of my head. The last time Carol
posted she mentioned her husband's health issues. Michael Trew likely
has his hands full dealing with the sudden increase in the size of his
    family.

Simply pointing out your hypocrisy. Oh, and I didn't realize
it's only OK for *you* to cross post.

Unlike you, I took the other group out.  You always put it back it.

You somehow think your hypocrisy should be kept
    to just one group?

Hmmm. I wonder when Greg will give up living

actually act on their hetrosexual yearnings.

Apparently Greg was KF'd by me on my last stint here. The quote above
is the first I'm seeing of it. Thanks for the reminder to keep it that way.

I'm fine, thanks, Michael.  I thought my job was going to end this month
but the owner of the company has decided to keep things going through
the end of the year.  That's a good thing. :)

I remember you mentioning your job ending, I thought that was last year.
    I'm glad it's been postponed.

I'm still doing the same old, but we're so close to finishing my second
house for resale. All of my little projects have kept me too busy to
check in here, but I see not much has changed. ;)

She could tell WWII stories, because she was there.

My dad had a lot of WWII stories to tell. He was a kid when the Japanese attacked our town. He was fishing in Honolulu Harbor and saw the planes
and the smoke. Because I dealt with elderly people with hearing loss
when I had a business, a lot of my clients saw the attack. I would have
missed the whole thing because I would be sleeping on Sunday mornings.
That's the boomer generation for you.

In the army, my dad was part of the occupation forces in Japan. On his
first night in the Army, his Sargent told him to go sleep apart from the
rest of his unit because he was the only Japanese in the place. Not only
that, he was also a commissioned officer when he entered the Army. He
might as well have pinned a target on his back.

My dad traveled the Pacific region procuring supplies and making deals
for the Army. He saw and had many wondrous experiences, riding PT boats
with V-12 Packard engines at high speed, he saw vehicles being buried in
the sand in beaches in Japan, boxes of gold on Tinian, he saw the
loading bay for the nuclear bombs dropped on Japan, cartons of
cigarettes for only 50 cents. It seems like my dad had a great time in
the Army. My dad was always able to have a great time - but not at the
    expense of family and friends.
