The Chick-fil-A in Honolulu is pretty popular. It's so popular that
there's always a line on the busy street to get into the drive-through.
I have no explanation for why that is. This never happens anywhere else.

Call me a snob but I won't wait in line for a chicken sandwich. There's
also the small matter of my wife hating those guys because of their
racist image. I don't know if it's true or not but who cares? It's just
a chicken sandwich. If they plopped their chicken on a plate with rice
and curry sauce, I'd certainly go there.

I don't think that local workers should be punished for corporate

There is a hamburger place like that on the highway north to cottage
country. A stop at Webbers is a tradition for most people heading
north. The customers are usually lined up out the doors and around the
corner, but they have a system that gets you in and out in no time.
They have people out taking orders and money and running the orders
inside. Inside they have a couple cooks doing the burgers and fries and
someone on the fryers and 3-4 people filling orders. I have had 25
people ahead of me and been out of there faster than I could get a black
coffee at $tarbucks with only two people ahead of me.

Shake Shack Taste Test At 30,000 Feet — Delta Just Won The Airline
    Burger War

    https://viewfromthewing.com/shake-shack-taste-test-at-30000-feet-delta-just-won-the-airline-burger-war/

"Delta Air Lines has been slowly rolling out Shake Shack burgers as a
pre-order meal choice in domestic first class since late fall...

I finally had a chance to try it and was seriously impressed...

I’m picky about burgers, and I know it. A great burger starts with
quality beef and you need to cook it properly, ideally grilling it. You
should get a nice char on the outside, while leaving the meat
    rare-to-medium rare on the inside...

It should have processed cheese that melts well. And it should be inside
of a potato bun. Brioche and ciabatta are not well-matched to a burger.
The bun is the delivery vehicle for the burger, big enough to contain it
but not so large that it overwhelms the contents...

Everything you put on the burger needs to fit inside so it doesn’t fall
apart when you eat it. You want to balance the flavors inside, getting a combination of everything with each bite...

The United Airlines first class burger was disgusting. The American
Airlines sliders were better (not great, but better) but they were
prematurely pulled. Alaska Airlines does a genuinely nice job with its burgers...

I do wish they’d attempt fries instead of offering a bag of chips, but
fries on a plane are hard. You aren’t deep frying them onboard, you’re reheating them. Bottom-line is that the Shake Shack burger succeeded,
and I’d gladly order it again..."

The verse in the Bible that emphasizes resting on the Sabbath is Exodus 20:8-11...

It instructs, "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you
shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to
the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor
your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals,
nor any foreigner residing in your towns"...

The verse also explains that the Sabbath was blessed and made holy
because God rested on the seventh day after creating the heavens and the earth...

You can always go inside and place your order. For
myself, I'd rather sit down there and eat my sandwich
than rush back to the office or factory. That the bun

Americans and their fast food, a match made in heaven :)

Fast food and restaurant dining are the wave of the future. Da younger >generation ain't interested in cooking. There ain't nothing that nobody
    can do about it.

It's a good thing you can't see any further than Hawaii. Otherwise
that would be bad for the environment, bad for the animals and bad for
    the people.

I tried Raising Canes once in my travels. Yes, the chicken was good,
but I was a little blown-away that I was expected to pay $12 for a meal
(with regular size fries/drink). Pricey food, I never went back.

That curry chicken and rice you mentioned earlier, that sounds good. I
haven't had anything like that in a while.

The thing about Cane's to me is that ordering is simple - you just order
a 4 piece meal and that's it. The important part is that the chicken is
fried to order and comes to you hot out of the fryer. That's pretty
    awesome.

In Hawaii, a 12 dollar meal is a pretty good deal. My wife and I share
the order so we're spending about 6 bucks each. A half order is more
than enough food for my old man stomach. Drink refills are free so it's possible to feed the two of us for less than 13 bucks. That's value.

At the moment, I love curry rice. We can get it with chicken and other
things. We can get curry rice in Japanese style or local style. Here's a
curry rice mochiko chicken. This plate costs about 16 bucks.

Empty carbs and dead animal in a brown aquarium. That looks truly
    awful, even for a child.

Yes, that's the risk of showing food pictures on RFC. It's not for the faint-hearted.

Maybe it's like Dutchified Indonesian food.
