• Duck breeding

Most of us never think about ducks and breeding but it can be important.
This show how to tell a pure bred duck vs and inbred duck. The
difference it amazing. Science at its best.

Who'd a thunk it?  This needs to be taught in schools!

In 2nd year of high school we dissected a frog in biology. The only
lessons we got about breeding was in the schoolyard.

The best lesson about breeding is, *don't, until you are married*.

That's rather conservative and boomerish. Of course, you are a boomer,
    so all is good.

That was probably less common than now in those days.

And that's the way it still should be. A shocking video of VD should
still be shown in high school P.E., along with "Signal 30" which
graphically showed the consequences of drinking and driving.
    We've lost so much. :(
I still remember a doctor asking an advanced syphilitic how he was
feeling. "Hunner percent, Doc, hunner percent".
For the youngest among us, VD is archaic English for STD. "Venereal" is
too big a word for most of today's high school graduates.

Leo, who knows what your life would have looked like if you'd been
told about gender exploration and transgenderism in junior school!

The STD reference on this ng brings to mind John Kuthe crowing about his
"STD meals" and later his "VSTD meals". Ugh!

I never dissected a frog in high school. That's fine with me. Taking an animal apart sounds like a real drag.
