One news article on the subject said that Americans are turning
away from canned food because it has preservatives in it. That
might be true of Spaghettios, but not canned vegetables.

I don't eat canned green beans because they come out of the
    can already overcooked.

I agree. I don't think preservatives are the problem in this case.

That's your problem right there. Nobody likes boomer green beans these
days. Quit polluting our shelves with those disgusting cans. Sell can
corn instead. Mexican Elote and Korean Corn Cheese. The young millennial

Exactly. Fresh is more readily available now and frozen is superior to
    canned also.
Del Monte had the market and should have transitioned to frozen.

Oddly, I prefer canned corn to frozen. I think I end up overcooking
frozen corn in an effort to get it hot.

They have frozen vegetables. I don't know if I've ever seen them
at the grocery stores I frequent, but Del Monte Arabia has them

If you look at the ingredients of the strawberry version, it deserved

brewed green tea water, (water, green tea concentrate), boba bubbles

Canned green beans are terrible. Until I was 20, that's the only way I

I hope they sort this out. I've eaten a ton of Del Monte, all my life.

I had some Del Monte pears last fall. They were disappointing. They were
too soft and were bland tasting. They turned out to be from somewhere in
Asia. We started getting peaches and pears from a local produce
market. They are apparently canned locally and are sole in large jars.
They are way better than the Del Monte stuff and actually cheaper.

    Have a DONUT, will ya...

That’s why the phrase “America Runs on Dunkin” was coined!

    VIEW FROM THE WING:

"Southwest Airlines Passenger Stunned As Seatmate Casually Snorts Coke
With Dunkin Donuts Card And $5 Bill

by Gary Leff on July 3, 2025

A Southwest Airlines passenger flying from Baltimore to Denver on
Wednesday reportedly pulled out a “steel box [with] lots of bottles inside.” While the passenger seated across from him at first thought
that it was medicine, the man “proceed[ed] to use his Dunkin’ Donuts loyalty card to start cutting up lines of cocaine.”

According to a reader on the flight, that’s when he rolled up a $5 bill
    to snort with:

Picks it up and leans toward the window and starts doing blow. I
couldn’t believe it! Only picture I took, but you can tell what he’s
doing. Southwest is becoming the new Spirit!..."

Exactly. All name brands such Hunts, Del Monte, Libby's,
etc. pack all the grocery store house brands. I don't
know about now, but at one time Pillsbury was packing
Kroger's brand of frozen biscuits. Duracell makes
Kroger house brand of batteries while Energizer makes
the Walmart brand. Same thing with store brand aspirin,

That's clearly ground pork. Peanut brittle is flatter.

If that's a fact, Leo won't believe it. Facts are communist
    constructs.

Don't judge until you've tried it - let's keep an open mind here!

Chlorinda: Hi, I'm Chlorinda, how can I help you?

Sauncho Smilax, Esq: I'm gonna have the house anchovy loaf to start and
the Devil Ray Filet. Can I get that deep-fried in beer batter?

Chlorinda: It's your stomach. What can I get for you, little buddy?

Doc Sportello: I'll take the Jellyfish Teriyaki Croquettes and the Eel Trovatore, please.

Chlorinda: Okay. And to drink, gentlemen? You're gonna wanna get good
and fucked up before this meal.

Sauncho Smilax, Esq: That's for sure.

Chlorinda: I have some recommendations. Maybe the Tequila Zombie?

Sauncho Smilax, Esq: Make it two.
