Any home cooking coming out of your kitchen on this
middle of the week day?  Or maybe grilling?

I'm heading to the kitchen in about 5 or 10 minutes and
vittles for tonight will be country fried steak, possibly
green beans and macaroni and cheese.  It's a toss up
between mac and cheese or mashed potatoes.  Either one
will good and this rattling of pots and pans will
    produce some leftovers, too.

Mashed sweet potatoes, savoy cabbage, and a slice of gammon.

It's still warm here, so the sweet potatoes were done in the microwave - washed, not peeled, covered, and zapped for a few minutes at a time
until soft, then peeled and mashed with a bit of butter. The cabbage was
thinly sliced and micro-cooked with a tiny bit of water, and the gammon
was done in a non-stick pan with some butter. The melted butter was
    dribbled on the cabbage.

Easy cooking for a hot day.

    Lunch was spanakopita.

Dinner is a salad with ham, pepperoni, and salami.

Home cooking, but not my home. My son brought over meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I made a salad to go with it.

I will though, take credit for reheating it in the microwave. Two
minutes a power level 5. A test of my fine cooking skills.

I was running errands and was going to stop and pick up a foccacio <sp?> sandwich. I had a last minute change of heart and opted to go to a
relatively new Thai restaurant in town and got a couple fresh rolls.
    They were very good.

Supper is in the BBQ grill at the moment..... Tandoori chicken.

Too damn hot to cook. Except for microwave. I'm having a sandwich made
from leftover chicken, some cole slaw, and half a can of leftover butter
    beans.
