There is also fido7.ru.magic.the.gathering which I could not
crosspost to.

If someone follows up on this, perhaps leave alt.religion.druid
in the Newsgroups line since that is where Steam Turbine
posted his query.

There are also local groups aus.games.roleplay
and uk.games.roleplay, and stage magic groups
alt.magic and alt.magic.secrets .

However Usenet is pretty dead so you may be better
off searching for a Facebook group.

Magic: the Gathering is a card game and does not seem to be related to
any of the newsgroups mentioned there as far as I know (unless maybe you
are interested in something unusual).

I have a list of the newsgroups in Eternal September, and the appropriate newsgroups for discussing the card game Magic: the Gathering seems to be:

rec.games.trading-cards.magic.misc General "Magic: the Gathering" postings.
rec.games.trading-cards.magic.rules "Magic: the Gathering" rules Q&A. rec.games.trading-cards.magic.strategy "Magic: the Gathering" strategy. rec.games.trading-cards.marketplace.magic.auctions Auctions of Magic cards.
rec.games.trading-cards.marketplace.magic.sales Selling Magic cards.

I do not know which ones are active (probably they aren't), although I am
on rec.games.trading-cards.magic.rules (since I am on it I can see that it isn't active; I had posted and gotten a response in the past, though).

For Magic: the Puzzling, I have a newsgroup on my own NNTP server which
I had set up for this purpose. (It is not currently active at all, although
I am on it and may be able to respond.)

Thanks, I should have done a search for magic. I thought
it was a role playing game (rpg) but didn’t realize it was
a card game.
