have been retyped and/or edited by me. I will reveal the correct
    answers in about 3 days.

For further information, including an explanation of the """
notation that may appear in these rounds, see my 2022-09-09
companion posting on "Reposted Questions from the Canadian
    Inquisition (RQFTCI*)".

No, that is not the Swedish title of the movie, but it is the only

    * Game 8, Round 3 - Science - Floral Horticulture

For each photo on the flower handout

    http://www.eskimo.com/~scs/msb/8-3/hort.jpg

your task is to identify which common garden flower it is, from the
    list handout:

Allium | Delphinium | Lily of the Valley
    Anemone | Echinacea | Lobelia
    Aster | Forget-Me-Not | Narcissus
    Begonia | Foxglove | Nasturtium
    Chrysanthemum | Geranium | Peony
    Clematis | Hibiscus | Primula
    Crocus | Hyacinth | Salvia
    Daisy | Hydrangea | Viola

For your convenience I have arranged the round in order by
photo number, so the 2 decoys are interspersed with the rest.
Their correct answers are also on the list. Answer the decoys if
you like for fun, but for no points.

The Cellar Rats tried to save some money in the original game by
printing only one copy per game of the handout in color; the other
players had to try to identify flowers from a black-and-white version!
For some of the photos it was hard to even see the flowers.

    1. Name it.

Crocus. 4 for Erland, Dan Blum, and Pete.

    2. Name it.

    Primula.

    3. Name it.

    Allium. 3 for Pete.

    4. Name it.

    Forget-Me-Not. 4 for Dan Blum.

    5. Name it.

    Narcissus. 4 for Erland.

    6. (decoy)

    Delphinium.

    7. Name it.

Foxglove. 4 for Erland and Pete.

    8. (decoy)

    Hyacinth. Erland got this.

    9. Name it.

    Nasturtium.

    10. Name it.

    Hibiscus. 4 for Pete.

I used to like what Hawaiian Air, as it then was, did with a hibiscus
to make their logo. In later versions starting in 2001, though, the
expression strikes me as rather grim. See:

And the 2017 version is no better:
    http://img.huffingtonpost.com/asset/596f8cfe15000029008b2972.jpg

    11. Name it.

    Clematis. 4 for Pete.

    12. Name it.

    Salvia.

Didn't I get this one? Oh, I see now that I placed the answer under
    the wrong question. Drat.
