such a contrarian view that I'm devoting an entire chapter of myforthcoming
book on Dylan's body of work to defending it to all you young'inswho can't

And yes, I'm fully aware that Dylan himself doesn't defend his
work. But over the last nearly five decades, he's seldom been thebest arbiter
