    I reply on rec.music.classical, using novabbs.com
I would like to post more replies, but not so when they also appear on
    RMCR."

I agree. I wasn't overjoyed either when I saw I had inadvertently posted
on RMCR - the hate newsgroup - and not just on RMC, by responding to
    the Karajan topic.

I have no idea how this works technically, but let's not do this again.
Or, alternatively, let us know when a topic is double barrelled, so
people can make up their mind whether they want to participate in more
    groups than one.

I don't know how novabbs.com works specifically, but generally
speaking, you want to consult/edit the "Newsgroups:" header of the
posting. Perhaps there is a function to access headers for
    viewing/editing?

Is there a feedback/help link? As a longtime Usenet person, I think
it's very reasonable to ask that someone be able to remove extra
newsgroups from their posting. (It was always the recommendation
to limit crossposting....) So the admin may be amenable.
