    Back in the early 70s, before getting into the Dead, I remember Maria Muldaur's hit
    Midnight at the Oasis. Then, later, she and Donna were the backup singers for JGB. But
    I never saw her perform, even in a video. I just did and she has an interesting, if hyper,
    energy. Maybe it was the coke :-)

    Until 1972, she was married to still-active musician Geoff Muldaur, who has quite a resume of his own…
