Yes, I was surprised to see the "1950s music" newsgroup listed but no

    rec.music.dylan

    or

    rec.music.beatles

    on the list.

Also was disappointed to find no alt.arts.poetry.comments

    or

    rec.arts.poems

    on the list.

MummyChunk has offered to see about getting those newsgroups added at JLA, and if so, between there and Nova BBS I think most Google Groups regulars will find a place for a painless transition to the new age that's coming.

    🙂

I posted this on another thread

I sent this note over. They said groups will be added soon. I'll
update here once I see them.

Another interesting observation on JLA Forums, which I posted on alt.atts.poetry.comments for my friend Rachel:

I'm on JLA Forums now, and see the poetry newsgroup is up and loading, apparently JLA Forums has a good Usenet archive building, as well

Thanks again, always good to have alternative Usenet venues.
