    Well it's gonna be an election year for all of us!

    Yep British PM Rishi Sunak has announced the UK General Election will be
    held Thursday July 4th 2024

    Since left wing Labour is currently some 17 points ahead of right wing Conservatives that hints at the very real prospect of a new left leaning
    UK Prime Minister having to work alongside a possible not quite so new
    very right leaning US President

    Happy days are here again!

    I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did, considering the fate of his precessessors.
    Wouldn't it be easier to hold elections on a fixed schedule, like we do,
    rather than surprise! popup elections?
