I have been trying repeatedly to post a reply in the "1960 UNRELEASED"
thread and it never goes through. So I'll try a new thread here.

These sound like two different versions to me. What do you guys think?

I had the same problem, but seeing your post(s) eventually turn up I
just waited. I'm guessing the problem is or was with Nova, the Usenet
service used by Roger; that is, a problem for non-Nova posters.

No, the repeat posts were sent thru Thunderbird and the "new thread"
post was sent via NovaBBS. I don't know what happened but apparently it resolved itself. I'll be more patient next time....maybe.

I'm posting via Nova and have found that whilst most posts I make are
visible straightaway it can sometimes take up to 30 minutes for the post
    to become visible

    No,I don't know why either

BTW Happy Independence Day to you and all the other colonials reading
    this :)

It doesn't really matter of course, but your "new thread" was sent
thru Thunderbird; it was the third of your four repeat posts that was
    sent via NovaBBS.

In the context of Usenet the word is propagation - the movement of
data between participating Usenet server nodes. https://www.fastusenet.org/blog/ultimate-guide-to-usenet-newsgroups.html

The 1960 unreleased thread apparently didn't make it to JLA Forums,
    where I'm reading this.

This is a response to the post seen at: http://www.jlaforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=668925217#668925217
