This morning I heard a bit on the radio about a new documentary film.
It's the story of Electric Lady Studios, founded by Jimi Hendrix and >apparently still in operation today.
Now, in the course of relating this story, the reporter stated that
Hendrix was the FIRST recording artist to own their own recording
studio. Can that be true? In 50 years of recording, no other artist
built their own studio? Not Les Paul, for example?
Before I ask Copilot I figure I'll ask here. Better odds of a right answer.
How about Johnny Mercer?
Part owner of Capitol, they must have had their own studio before Norman >Petty I would think.

Les Paul DID have his own recording studio of course---started in his
garage in Hollywood---where he honed hia double, treble, quadruple etc etc multi-tracking to a fine art
BTW what exactly is this "Co-Pilot" thingy? I keep seeing it mentioned.
Is it any good?

Jim, an emotional and potentially very misleading response.
But thanks, Jim, for your follow-up post that mentions Copilot Pro's >integration with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel ...)
