Just as L'il Wally was the male bane of many collectors who spent hours searching thru the stock of many of those old American record warehouses
so Marjorie (or "Margie") Meinhert--pianist and organist---was the
female equivalent (tho their actual music wasn't the least bit similar)
The lady recorded many titles for both Fraternity and RCA and drove us
crazy on several occasions having to wade thru her dross in bulk

When I look through the vinyl in a thrift store, I always find at least
one copy of Herb Alpert's WHIPPED CREAM AND OTHER DELIGHTS, not to
mention tons of LPs by Perry Como (usually Christmas titles), Andy
Williams, Enoch Light, and Jerry Murad's Harmonicats. Those damned
things must have sold in the millions!
