John and Paul both said this was their all time favorite record in
    1964-1965.

    From my Little Richard Page:

    https://digitaldreamdoor.com/mobile/bios/little-richard-bio-mobile.html

Paul McCartney - "The first song I ever sang in public was "Long Tall
Sally." I love his voice and I always wanted to sing like him. When the
Beatles were first starting we performed with Richard in Liverpool and
Hamburg, and we became close friends. Richard is one of the greatest
    kings of rock 'n' roll.

John Lennon - "Elvis was bigger than religion in my life. Then this boy
at school said that he'd got this record by somebody called Little
Richard who was better than Elvis. The new record was Little Richard's
"Long Tall Sally." When I heard it, it was so great I couldn't speak. I
didn't want to leave Elvis, but this was so much better. Then someone
said "It's a nigger singing." I didn't know Negroes sang. So Elvis was
white and Little Richard was black. This was a great relief. "Thank You
God" I said. "There is a difference between them." (1970)

    16. Slow Down            Larry Williams 1958

Over here I think you'd find that very many UK 50's rock 'n' roll fans
might well name "Slow Down" as Larry's best record--personally I find
his more LR derived numbers like "Short Fat Fannie" and "Bony Moronie"
have lost a lot of their allure these days.

    1. Tutti Frutti Little Richard 1955

Quite possibly my favorite single of all time!

Think about if you were from the UK where it was released there in late
1956 with "Long Tall Sally" as the flip side. No one could ever top that
    as a two sided single!

    https://www.45cat.com/record/hlo8336

Absolutely right! The GREATEST EVER double sider of all time!!

This was Richard's SECOND single released in UK and it came out here in
    January 1957.

("Rip It Up"/"Ready Teddy" was his first UK single and that one was from November 1956)

Note the US source label is shown as SPECIALITY on the original London
    label

The 2 sided single of "What'd I say" is still a mediocre edit of the
full track. I would not even give the 2 sided single edit a 10, it's
missing some of my favorite parts. But even if it had the full track it
would not come close to beating that Little Richard single for me.

The full track is 6:26, and the 2 sided single is 5:13.

I don't remember, did we ever have a contest for best 2-sider?

Both sides of this one below are in my all time top 20 favorites.

Johnny Burnette Trio - Honey Hush / The Train Kept A-Rollin'- 5-18

And there are 4 others where both sides are in my top 100.

Long Tall Sally / Slippin' And Slidin' - 3-49
    Good Rockin' Tonight / I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine - 15-37
Baby I Need You / My Lovin' Baby - 27-76
One Hand Loose / Bottle To The Baby - 30-74

All 4 of those are in my top 1,000, but YB and Cruel are only 9's. so
they are in the second half of the list. The one Diane mentioned is a
doubled sided 10 and there are some others like Rip It Up/Ready Teddy.

That one is just 9/8 for me, in that order.

Chuck has a doubled sided 10 for me, "Around And Around" and "Johnny B.
    Goode."
Sweet Little Sixteen and Reeling And Rockin' is 10/9

Lots of Chuck's best records though have pretty shitty flip sides, like
my 2 favorite Chucks, Beethoven and School Day, where the flip sides are
    weak.
