Very rare , as it survives mostly in Gaud Sarang and Gaud Malhar .
Some other mixtures like Gaud Bilawal exist also .
Sikh sangeet sometimes names it Gond or Gaund .
A case can be made for 2 different prakars in Bilawal Thaat :
_ The first has the phrase RGm , as used in Gaud Malhar , Sarparda Bilawal etc ... Also reffered to in Pt Ramrang Jha´s clips .
_ The 2nd has the phrase GRmG , as used in Gaud Sarang . One youtube channel dedicated to rare ragas has an audio with this prakar , where RGm is not used .
PS : Acc to Swarganga Gaud Bahar is a mix between Bahar and Gaud Malhar .
The Rare Ragas channel, if it is the same one I am thinking of. is Pt. Manikbua's Legacy channel - he seems to have known many of the rarest of the rare raags
