Some songs which mention staring at the sun:

    “If I look hard enough
    Into the setting sun
My love will laugh with me
    Before the morning comes”
(Rolling Stones -- Paint It Black)
    (But what morning?)

"It's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me (I'm the problem, it's me)
    At tea time, everybody agrees
I'll stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror
It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero”
    (Taylor Swift -- Anti-hero)
    (I’m the uncle hero.)

"I will stare into the sun until its light doesn't blind me
I will walk unto the fire until its heat doesn't burn me
And I will feed the fire”
(Sarah McLachlan -- Into the Fire)
(which partly inspired my sun stare described on my
mystic page, of nearly three sunspot cycles ago.
    Also is she the Fie-er?)

And there is another song that I hear on CHMR
    sometimes which goes something like:

    “Fire woo woo woo
You must have put it there when
I was looking at the sun”
(which sounds like Liz Solo but I didn’t think she
had any new music out yet.)

Evidently from a google search all of MIKA, Post Malone,
and U2 have songs entitled Staring at the Sun, but I won’t
check them out just now, I need breakfast. :-)

Do you know of any other songs or poems mentioning
staring at the sun, including any very old ones?
