Still here, George.
I was thinking the other day how nice it is not to be inundated here
with the constant perversion of the alphabet crowd anymore. You can
give that a RIP with no arguments from me!

I've noticed the past few weeks that the signal to noise ratio
has vastly improved; more RV related postings than not.
So .. did something identifiable happen to bring this happy state
of affairs about? Or is it just a wonderful mystery?

Google's end of usenet support for google groups.
This also had the benefit of eliminating the majority of spam on usenet.

Supposed to get my base plate sometime this week. Looking forward to
getting it done.
Have the View in the shop to fix a few warranty issues.
Fix misaligned bumper on left side. They did a good job and they all
look properly aligned now. Shitty workmanship by Winnebago factory.
Both tank heaters were coming unglued and they installed two brand new
ones. Shitty workmanship by Winnebago factory.
Waiting on parts to fix one of the leveling jacks that somehow got
mounted in a manner that makes it go down at an angle. Shop said it was possibly a loose mounting bot, so they got a new jack and mounting
bracket ordered. Shitty workmanship by Winnebago factory.
It is supposed to get cold enough for widespread frost next week, so I
took it home and winterized it for the first time just to be safe.
Pretty straight forward on this model. Thought I could do it in 2
gallons, but I ended up using three. Took it back so they could install
new jack once they get the part.
Overall, I like the service department at this place. Seem competent,
and willing to listen and understand the problem and what I want done to
fix it.

The lunatic lefties took their marbles and went home.
It was bad before but since covid, RV manufacturers are turning out shit.
