  • Sad news

    For members of the Community who don't follow the Facebook groups, I
    have a sad announcement to make. Samuel Redcat Mahoney and Ranger
    Greycat Mahoney have both crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

    Sammy, 22 years old, had been suffering from symptoms of dementia for
    years, but in recent weeks his muscles began to weaken and his
    coordination lessened. Yesterday he was basically unable to walk, and attempting to walk caused him pain.

    Ranger, 21 years old, had been fighting kidney disease for a while, but standard treatments weren't helping him. His condition continued to deteriorate, so by yesterday he was feeling very unwell with no
    likelihood of improvement.

    Our humans took both Sammy and Ranger to the vet for the final mercy
    yesterday afternoon.
