This is a short flight in my neighborhood showing just how much we need rain in our local lake, Lake Nacimiento. It is currently at 26.4% capacity with no promise of rain in the near future. So our drought persists.

Unfortunately for some, delivery is via SmugMug. <https://photos.smugmug.com/Air-2S-Work-2022/Air2S-Work-2022/i-qzjMCJM/0/7d92da12/1920/Lake%20Nacimiento%20Feb%2027%202022-1920.mp4>

Boy that looks parched! Wish we could send you some of ours. Our main water supply dam is currently at 123% (it got up to 170% a few days ago) and I believe they're still letting water out.

There may be a drought, but everything is so green.

The little rain we got in December was enough to make that change from parched dried out to green. Once we get into April & May that will change back to California dry brown/tan.

In the weather report yesterday they noted that January & February 2022 were the driest on record for the California Central Coast.

We dream of 26.4%. Rain? What's that then?

Don’t you have a plain where the Spanish rain is supposed to mainly stay?

I live in the region called "La Vega de Antequera".

Our bit of the Guadalhorce river has been bone dry for as long as I can remember.

And the rain in Spain falls mainly in the mountains, despite the saying.

At this rate we all may be forced to up and abandon the place.

We have 3 houses and an apartment here, so would be a bit of a git.

Nice. Hit it at magic hour!

Beginning in the 1970's, all birds in North America were replaced by
drones made to look and act like birds. By 2004, no real birds are to
be found. They are all drones. They all belong to the government.
They spy on everyone. All of the time. Birds are not real.

Yup! Timing is everything, and I need to get in more flights with good
    light to the West.

I still haven't decided on an upgrade yet, as the Air 2S does a pretty
good job, and it is tough to justify the cost of the Mavic 3, or the
Autel Evo Lite+. ...but I am tempted.
