• Will Applesheep refuse battery payouts on principle?

From RichA@21:1/5 to All on Fri Jun 17 00:16:14 2022
Seems reasonable for them that think Apple can do not wrong to refuse to be paid for a problem that (to them) isn't a problem.

what apple did was *solve* a problem, where the phone suddenly shuts
down due to peak demands on an aging battery, something which affects
    all batteries, even on cameras.

android device makers ignored the problem, resulting in multiple
lawsuits, but because it's not apple, it doesn't make the news and
    people just accept it.

The last generation of Google Nexus devices went out with a bang.
The Nexus 5X was infamous for its bootloop issue, while the 6P was
best known for its random shutdown problems. A class-action lawsuit
against Google and Huawei for the 6P's hardware woes was filed in
2017, and last year, it looked like a settlement was on the horizon.
At long last, payments are starting to go out to claimants.

Perhaps you should wait to see if Apple loses this before getting into
    your typical obsessed lather?
