  • How do you show greater resolution in a 1:1 comparison screenshot poste

From Andy Burnelli@21:1/5 to All on Thu Jul 21 15:00:26 2022
How do you visually show greater resolution in a 1:1 comparison screenshot posted to the Internet such as this comparison of scrcpy versus Vysor resolution (which has to be reduced in size in order to post it)?
    <https://i.postimg.cc/xdSMtBkn/vysor36.jpg> scrcpy vs Vysor resolution

Is there a typical photograph I can display on the phone that is used for showing how the resolution differs?

Or is there a specific technique (as they do with chromatic aberrations)?

The phone size & resolution is:
Type TFT LCD, 60Hz (International), 90Hz (SM-A326U only)
    Size 6.5 inches, 102.0 cm2 (~81.6% screen-to-body ratio)
    Resolution 720 x 1600 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~270 ppi density)
    <https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_a32_5g-10648.php>

The monitor size & resolution is:
    Screen Size 45" Diagonal
    Display Technology LCD
    Backlight Source Fluorescent
    Resolution 1920x1080
    <http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/Sharp-AQUOS_LC-45GD7U.htm>

When posting to the Internet, a certain amount of file-size shrinkage is required, where that screenshot above is set to the following dimensions
    Size 1719x967 pixels (16:9)
    File size 170.19 Bytes

The question has basically two general parts to it:
    a. Is there a well known specific image for showing resolution differences?
    b. Is there a type of images show slight resolution differences?
    c. Given reduction in file size is required, how best to do that
reduction and still show the differences in resolution to viewers?

Jesus Christ. You are a moron. Both of you. nospam & BillW.
The fact you exist is proof that Darwin was wrong about you morons.

Every time you utter morons claim you're a genius for figuring out that
I've posted the _same_ homescreen screenshots for a decade or more, it
amazes me that you idiots "think" you're geniuses.

I'm not hiding from you, you stupid fucks.
Jesus Christ. You're too stupid to even figure out something that obvious.

*How do you dolts survive in this world being _that_ incredibly stupid?*

I've posted this type of screenshot for _decades_ and you still think
you're a fucking genius for figuring out what isn't even hidden?

A monkey is smarter than you in that those screenshots are unique to me.

*Anyway, the question is still valid and apropos for this newsgroup.*

The problem is how to drastically shrink a screenshot and _still_ show the difference in resolution.

What advice do you have that will _show_ a reduction in resolution,
when the images have to be shrunk drastically in order to post them?

Is there a tool, sort of like a hash perhaps, that shows resolution?
