    Nice I was going to try to capture it myself but it was -3C last night.

    Might try tonight if I'm feeling brave enough and the weather is well ......

    Stay warm tonight. The moon is long gone from Mars.

    Earlier that evening, Mars was much further away.

    Here is a photo taken less than three hours earlier showing
    the apparent distance to be much greater (Mars is at the lower left).
