Itâs great to get good news. Iâve been informed that the W0QQQ
Radio Club at Kansas State University has been selected to receive an
ARRL Club Grant award. The Club plans to use their funds to revitalize
their organization. Now designated as an Independent Student
Organization, the Club receives little funding directly from the
University. This grant will enable them to rebuild their capabilities
and membership so as to regain status as a designated student
organization. They plan to use the funds to purchase equipment,
training materials, and to produce posters and brochures.
Vice Director Dave Propper, K2DP, and I congratulate President Samuel
Forbes, AC0SF, and the members of the club on garnering this grant. We
look forward to celebrating their success in rebuilding the
Universityâs amateur radio club.
